Alka-Seltzer effervescent tablets offer fast and effective relief from mild pain, indigestion and heartburn through their active ingredient of Aspirin. Active ingredients: Aspirin (Acetylsalicylic acid) 324mg per tablet, Sodium hydrogen carbonate 1774mg per tablet, Citric acid 965mg per tablet. Adults and children over 16: Two tablets dissolved in half a glass (100ml) of water may be taken every 4 hours as required.They also provide symptomatic relief from sprains, strains, rheumatic pain, sciatica, lumbago, fibrosis, muscular aches and pains, joint swelling, and stiffness. Alka-Seltzer Original are effervescent tablets which dissolve in water to give a sparkling solution.

Relief of rheumatic pain (arthritis), muscle tenderness and stiffness (including fibrositis), muscular aches and pains, the pain of joint swelling and stiffness, strains and sprains. Are allergic (hypersensitive) to any other pain relieving, anti-rheumatic or anti-inflammatory medicines (eg NSAIDS).
