About this deal

Detectives appealed for anyone travelling by vehicle who may have dashcam footage of the north west of Anglesey between the early hours of April 22 and the early afternoon to make contact.

The investigative teams must work out which are which and try to sort the sheep from the goats but that is no easy task. When two bodies are spotted in the sea at Porth Dafarch, it doesn't take long to be obvious that their deaths were no accident. The bolt passed completely through Corrigan’s body, causing terrible internal damage including bruising the heart. Conrad Jones is one of my favourite authors, if you are ever in the doldrums with your reading just pick up one of his books, you will get straight into the story and won't be disappointed. There is organised crime to deal with, drugs, guns etc and the Welsh Drug Squaf and the NCA…all while trying to solve these murders….

I also liked seeing DI Williams being involved or overseeing them all, it helped prevent the various strands of the story from becoming confusing which can happen when you have many murders that may or may not be connected.

It is both exciting and very enjoyable to read; I’d have read it in one sitting, if not for life intervening, because I didn’t want to put it down. yes, I know I'm picky) with believable characters across a wide spectrum; some likeable, others scary, all memorable. I wanted to understand - but understanding was undercut by a sense of the author playing with my emotions. He initially lied to police and said he had been at his home on Anglesey at the time of the shooting, but later said he had been near Corrigan’s home because he was having a sexual encounter with a friend. Intertwined with this is a serial killer, who is obsessed with a now caught serial killer, Peter Moore. With Organised crime, Drug Smuggling, Guns, Albanian Gangs and copycat murders this book has plenty of plot lines. The house on Lon Pant was cordoned off and I parked in an adjoining street walking the short distance to Mrs Leyshon's neat bungalow and meeting Daily Post photographer Gerallt Radcliffe. It’s always a worry when an author creates a new detective, especially when you have loved their previous detective series, as you never know whether you can take to them as much as the other one. It was a brilliantly written, very sold police procedural that taught me a lot about drug dealing and introduced me to some characters that I very much would like to spend more time with in the future. Is there a copycat on the loose or are the murders connected to the local underworld, which controls the supply of narcotics across North Wales and the North West?

A few minutes earlier he had described Llanfairpwll as a "perfect" location for vampires, since many of its residents were elderly. Peter Rouch QC, prosecuting, told the jury at Mold crown court it might never be known why Corrigan was murdered. As Christmas approached the investigation continued as villagers in Llanfairpwll and nearby Menai Bridge lived in fear of further attacks.A sports therapist has been found guilty of murdering a retired lecturer by shooting him with a crossbow at his remote island home in what police described as a “barbaric, medieval-style execution”. Set on Anglesey it follows DI Alan Williams and his partner DS Kim Davies as body after body washes up on the shores.
