About this deal

B) if so, and supposing that it is BordNaMona, thus Irish, thus sphagnum peat, will it be good for heheee you know what !

We supply domestic, commercial and agricultural fuels throughout County Fermanagh and South Tyrone to the following post codes: BT74, BT75, BT92, BT93 and BT94. Even if you could get them broken up, the suitability of briquettes would partially depend on what depth they were taken from the bog. Hi, don't know where in the south west you reside but Irish sphagnum moss peat is available in Exeter, postage wouldn't be an option as it's a job to lift 100 litres. Because of the challenging ecological conditions of peat wetlands, they are home to many rare and specialised organisms that are found nowhere else. Our peat is all sourced from Ireland and is from an area where there are open marsh lands that produce some of the best peat in the UK. Perfect for stoves and especially open fires, where the lovely, traditional smell can be fully enjoyed. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The Bord na Mona briquettes need to be kept under shelter as they will disintegrate if left exposed.

after reading the reviews thought i would give them a try , they burn really well and last longer than wood also get a good heat off them and easy to light , though some say they burn for 2 to 3 hours i put 2 on burner and they lasted 1 hour 30 mins on a low air supply . It takes centuries for a peat bog to regenerate not to mention the carbon dioxide dispatched on its not so merrily way. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Handle them gently, as Tapl says, there is a lot of fine ash which floats around - and you will only take them outside in an uncovered container once! If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

Occasionally, deliveries can be taken onto the driveway if it is a flat concrete / tarmac surface with no gradient. Although these are not a replacement they are much better for long burning as you lay them on a thin bed of hot ashes and just let them go.

I was there with two Italian friends and we had forgotten to rake down the briquette fire the night before. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Just don't have a clue where to find some in Dublin (we won't have a car and found an hostel close to Temple Bar). it is nice to know from some peat experts how to manage our first experience with the peat briquettes (I probably would NOT have thought about a covered vessel until after the first attempt at removing the ash and the resulting mess and subsequent clean up)!Can be mixed with wood or coal or used by themselves on Log and Coal fires, open stoves, fire pits, Chimineas, Burners and BBQ's.

If you are a resident of another country or region, please select the appropriate version of Tripadvisor for your country or region in the drop-down menu. This vehicle is usually able to travel wherever your rubbish collectors do when they make their rounds. The beauty of our Irish peat briquettes is that they are a 100% natural product that has not had anything added to it to make it burn brighter or for longer.Make sure you get a good fire going then add a row or 2 then sit back and enjoy, they will burn for ages. We find that the briquettes burn very quickly so we build our fire with a mixture of briquettes and coal. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum. Bord na Móna’s peat briquettes have a long burn time and a high heat output, and of course will create that homely feeling you can only get with the scent of burning real Irish peat. Hubby and I fell in love with the smell of the peat fire during our trip to Ireland and want to have that at home in the winter (though it doesn't get too cold here in Alabama!
