another thing is that this is my first actual boss pedal, ive always wanted one and finally got it after getting it on reverb. I wasn't able to try out the stereo feature since I don't have a stereo amp (or 2 mono amps for that matter) but the widening and thickening effect even in mono was enough to remind me of those classic 80's records when chorus was a staple sound and of course that iconic intro to Come As You Are played by Kurt Cobain. To commemorate the birth of BOSS effects, the CE-2W is made exclusively in Japan, just as the original CE-1 and CE-2 were. I do think it is worth the money and as everyone knows, boss pedals never break so you will be in good hands. CH-1 is a very smooth and clean sounding chorus effect, that compliments any clean guitar signal beautifully (always works great on overdrive).
