About this deal

Then, in case you've missed me talking about it every three seconds, I went to New York with the skincare brand CeraVe. This gentle face wash formula easily lathers to effectively remove dirt, impurities and excess oils without stripping the skin of moisture. Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe Blemish Control Face Wash is formulated with 2% salicylic acid to target blemishes and visibly reduce blackheads.

I have tried a lot in over the last 10 years or so as can say this definitely would be the best of the bunch. As an NHS business we work tirelessly to provide support to our local community with a particular focus on those most vulnerable and in need. Aqua/Water, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Gluconolactone, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Peg-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Ceramide Np, Ceramide Ap, Ceramide Eop, Carbomer, Calcium Gluconate, Triethyl Citrate, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Cholesterol, Tetrasodium Edta, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Xanthan Gum, Hectorite, Phytosphingosine, Benzoic Acid. For this review, I used the product back to back for about one week and let me tell you, it did not end well.I did find it gave me some uncomfortable tingling around the edges of my nose and mouth for a few seconds, but no noticeable redness. CeraVe Blemish Control Face Wash has been made to help clear and prevent acne breakouts and doesn’t contain the nasty things that usually cause dryness and further breakouts like lots of foaming cleansers can.

The remaining ones have significantly reduced size, and my forehead’s texture is generally smoother. However soon after I noticed my face feeling tingly and very irritated, then began to become red, the following morning and days after I noticed my skin was peeling, dry and very sensitive to any of my normal products, so had to discontinue use. The CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser has been developed with dermatologists and with oily, blemish-prone skin types in mind. Case in point: CeraVe’s blemish range, which offers an affordable answer to tackling blemishes and balancing acne-prone skin. While I wasn’t thrilled about the name change to Cerave Blemish Control Cleanser, at least we didn’t have to wait too long for our version.I have sensitive and acne prone skin (yay for me) and found it hard to find things that work on acne but don't make my face horribly dry. I love how these products are affordable and you can grab them in the supermarket or chemist alongside the stuff for tonight's bolognese.

Ideal for daily use to gently exfoliate the dead skin cells that can clog pores and contribute to acne, a cleanser with salicylic acid offers acne-controlling benefits and may complement other over-the-counter and prescription-based acne treatments to help maintain clear, healthy skin—just be sure to check with your dermatologist. To layer on an added level of fun, as Mamamia 's beauty editor, I test a lot of new skincare and makeup products. It has an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effect, helps to unclog pores, prevent blemishes and speed up healing of the existing ones. I also sandwiched the lotion and retinol with hydrating serums and moisturisers to keep things really comfy and minimise the chance of irritation. Along with a reduction in those under-the-skin baddies, I also noticed a reduction in the pesky blackheads I usually find around my nose and chin. I started breaking out literally all over my face, mostly in areas where I usually break out anyway. This product would be suitable for oily skin that breaks out, but not for dehydrated skin that breaks out - so it is important to know what the cause of the breakouts is from before deciding if this product is right for you.

After reviewing the cleanser, I was already looking forward to the next product, the Cerave Blemish Gel. It helps attract water to the upper layer of the skin and can stimulate production of skin's own hyaluronic acid resulting in improved hydration levels. One last thing that was frustrating was the lack or information regarding what to use in conjunction with this product other than the blemish control gel. The former targets people with rough and bumpy skin, while the latter targets those with blemish-prone skin. CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is a gentle gel-foam face wash that removes dirt, impurities and excess oils on blemish-prone/acne-prone skin.On the other hand, the 2% Salicylic Acid from the Blemish Control Cleanser works so much faster, especially if you do a short contact therapy with it. As if the beauty Gods were staring right down at me themselves, while I was over there CeraVe introduced me to a new Blemish Control range of products for mild acne-prone skin (I audibly gasped cause, meant 2 b). WATER, SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL HYDROXYSULTAINE, GLYCERIN, NIACINAMIDE, GLUCONOLACTONE, SODIUM METHYL COCOYL TAURATE, PEG 150 PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRASTEARATE, CERAMIDE NP, CERAMIDE AP, CERAMIDE EOP, CARBOMER, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, TRIETHYL CITRATE, SODIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, SODIUM LAUROYL LACTYLATE, CHOLESTEROL, TETRASODIUM EDTA, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID, TRISODIUM ETHYLENEDIAMINE DISUCCINATE, XANTHAN GUM, HECTORITE, PHYTOSPHINGOSINE, BENZOIC ACID (Code F. Also, it is such a brilliant cleanser for anyone with oily skin, as Cerave introduced a new oil-absorbing ingredient. Firstly I love the pump bottle as the amount is more controlled and you really only need one to one and a half pumps for your face, meaning the bottle will last really well.
