An elderly nun is selected to repeat the experiment; she dies, and David speculates that the priest, who turns out to have repressed homosexual desires for one of his fellow clergymen, released the demon corrupting his mind and body when he died. The anticipated tv series season Evil Season 3 is already released on Blu-ray, DVD and Paramount+ in the USA. David is shocked by his father's decision but accepts that he is allowed to deal with the pain of their family's history in his own way.
