About this deal

The flag fabric material we use in advertising flags has tear-resistant characteristics, ensuring the product endures for a long time. It consists of six equal horizontal bands of black (top), yellow, red, black, yellow, and red (bottom); a white disc is superimposed at the centre and depicts the national symbol, a grey crowned crane, facing the hoist side. The three colours are representative of native ethnic groups of Africa (black), Africa's sunshine (yellow), and African brotherhood (red being the colour of blood, through which all Africans are connected). We believe it is an unnecessary expense which, in many cases, has the opposite effect to that which is intended.

The most popular and standard 3x5 foot Flag is lightweight Knitted Polyester that make flag flying high to its attractive appearance. It was a British blue ensign with the Union Jack displayed in the canton and a gray crowned crane displayed on the fly. It consists of six equal horizontal bands of black (top), yellow, red, black, yellow, and red; a white disc is superimposed at the centre and depicts the national symbol, a Grey Crowned Crane, facing the hoist side. The originally proposed flag design had vertical stripes of green-blue-green, separated by narrower yellow stripes, with the silhouette of a yellow crane in the centre. This work is ineligible for copyright and therefore in the public domain because it consists entirely of information that is common property and contains no original authorship. Poor show-though on flags is almost always the result of cutting corners with ink volumes or value-adding processes. Uganda is often referred to as the “Pearl of Africa” and was given this title by Winston Churchill due to how beautiful he thought the country was when he visited whilst it was under British Rule.

Uganda is also home to 1,060 species of bird (11% of the world's bird population) and is often visited by birdwatchers. It was designed by the first political party to rule in Uganda, and it fell out of use after less than a year when that party failed to keep power in the nation's early elections. The three colours are representative of African peoples (black), Africa's sunshine (yellow), and African brotherhood (red being the colour of blood, through which all Africans are connected). Our outdoor international flags are finished with a canvas header and brass grommets and are offered in four sizes: 2ft. We have Uganda flags in a range of different sizes and qualities as well as bunting for national days or to show some national pride. After the party lost the national elections on 25 April 1962, the newly elected Uganda People's Congress (UPC) rejected the former design and instead proposed the current design. It has the same durability, strength and versatility of its knitted polyester equivalent but with a much lower environmental impact.
