About this deal

With track by track analyses of their two albums, all of their performances, and even a section on why '23' pops up so much, this is a must have book for all REAL Gorillaz fans. Even if you haven't paid much attention to Gorillaz (or if you have no idea what, exactly, they are), I still strongly recommend getting this book.

Featuring brand new art from and designed by Jamie Hewlett, this is the full story of Murdoc, 2-D, Noodle and Russel Hobbs for the first time.

Initially an iTunes exclusive, one part was released every week for four weeks beginning 4 December 2006. Very well-preserved, light wear to jacket edges and corners a little bumped due to storage otherwise VG bright and unmarked.

The dust wrapper is in very good condition, bright, with two teeny closed tears and slight creasing to the top to the front. The book details the life-stories of the band-members: Murdoc Niccals, 2-D, Russel Hobbs, and Noodle. Bits like this help you enjoy this book twice as much as if you would only see it as one or the other. It'll be packed full of great shots from the sets of our videos, gigs, rehearsals, interviews…you name it.

But it's easy to see the underlying notes throughout the book give little hints and glimpses of the real story, with the real people that brought it together, but it's so subtle you'll kindly smile because they did this so well it doesn't interrupt the pacing of the book at all. The band has shot to popularity in the UK following their debut album, Gorillaz , and have been named "World's Most Successful Virtual Band" according to the Guiness Book of Records.
