About this deal

I've seen a lot of comparisons to AG Sweet Like Candy and I'm inclined to agree, but I think they're cousins, not sisters. Some people bring up smelling fruit notes but to my nose i really don't smell fruit at all, not even faintly. Pink Friday 2 is such a refined fragrance that I have worn to the office, in errands and in a small gathering, and it WORKS. I even showed it to my two teens(who are way more familiar with Nicki Minaj than I am), and they liked how you have decapitate her to spray the perfume. The lasting power on this is not great for an eau de parfum it's about 4 maybe 5 hours but that's still awesome.

Yes, it does smell similar to Justin Bieber Someday, which in turn smells similar to Katy Perry Meow, which in turn smells similar to the original of this fragrance format, Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy. I love Nicki so I knew when I bought this I was 100% going to love it, and guess what my hypothesis was right.Sillage is good too, at least for me personally, this is one of the stronger and longer lasting celebrity scents I've tried. I can't imagine that a women in her thirties would release something so immature, so generic, so elementary. The bottle, yes, is reminiscent of Nicki, so yes, I understand if some people do not like the bottle.

The fragrance drop coincides with the release of Minaj’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2 on Friday. From then on, every time I went in my pocket, I would smell this lovely flowery, caramel and vanilla scent.

You know when you're making juice, and you taste it and is too strong, and you go and pour more water but ends up pouring too much and the juice taste like mildly flavored water? It smells very much like every other celebrity endorsed/girly fragrance out on the market right now but hints at something more. Top notes are Solar Notes, Nectarine and Pineapple; middle notes are Mimosa, Damask Rose and African Orange Flower; base notes are Musk, Amber and Tonka Bean. So the issue alongside me simply not enjoying the "starfruit", is that it doesn't jive well with the base, and ends up smelling like it's pulled in too many directions.

It's not as sweet as you would think and lasts longer than a lot of other celeb scents that came out around the same time. I'm not one to complain about longevity very often, most scents last well on me, but this becomes a skin scent really quickly. I eventually bought the scent because it reminded me of summer orchids dipped in sugar, like lollipops melting in the hot sun -- that fruity sweetness and the dry down of musk, sandalwood (possibly cedar, or juniper?I can say that this scent is a little bit childish, teen like but anyone could wear it and the perfume does not last long at all. The scent is irrelevant, but as a sweet gourmand lover I really thought I’d at least like it just a bit. To my nose I get a Fresh Clean Laundry Dryer Sheet; with a hint of Sweetness from the Fruit but not a Candy Sweet; a hint of the Powderyness mixed with an Old school Lipstick smell. Now that I know I own this, being very similar, I am happy to use this one instead until the day I have Viva!
