Looking at the traditions of bothy’s Gin Bothy use traditional methods to create their gins which are inspired by heritage and driven on development and new creations. Over the years, these welcoming shelters in the wilderness are where people have huddled before a hastily-lit fire, sharing songs, stories and recipes. It was simple really: surplus fresh berry juice from my jam-making operation was not going to waste.

For some this is a cosy seat in the nearest pub, for others it’s a night in a bothy with a hip flask.
