About this deal

While I grew to love aspects of our FMC, Fallon, her obsession with the cringy Dante throughout the book even after she set out on her adventure with Mórrgaht was getting under my skin.

She gives as much thought into becoming queen as I do when someone offers me a flyer on the street; I mindlessly take it and just keep walking. I’ve only read a YA romance by her but now I need to go read every single fantasy book she has ever written! This is a strange one because while there isn't anything I overtly disliked, reading this felt like work.

Speaking of love, I had no idea it was possible to absolutely love a character that isn’t even in the first half of the book.I’m trying to get back into the fantasy-romance kindle unlimited groove and randomly picked this one up. I może nie jest wypełniona dynamiczną akcją, to jednak w żadnym momencie nie czułam się ani trochę mniej zaintrygowana co wydarzy się dalej. The main languages are based off Italian and Gaelic, and the glossary is perfect to reference when in doubt. I think the world is so incredibly fascinating and well described, and the plot is intricate and thought through.Although our FMC was kind of obsessed over another guy in 60% of the book, which was confusing AF at the time. The story I quite enjoyed, however I will not be purchasing the sequel in Audible because of the very strange narration.

It took me quite a while to warm to her but when I did, I found that I liked her and enjoyed the story. Fallon is the type of girl you can't help but love and her loyalty and care towards animals was beautiful to read I loved her friendship with minimus. And to add, the hardback is stunning, such beautiful artwork on the chapter pages and the inside cover as well as the outer protective one. The second half of this book got a lot more interesting, there was a lot of scene setting in the beginning and I’m still not sure if it was all necessary.

I am surprised beta readers (assuming there were any) didn't flag any of this before the final story was released. The main character is pretty naive throughout it, which does start to grate on me about 1/3 of the way through. I imagined it was set somewhere in Italy, ugh just the words the author uses for description were amazing! I truly believe that everything about it will be even better than this Installment (which, I obviously still loved since a 5 star rating is incredibly rare for me lol).
