Skye finds all of Clara's belongings in the attic, barely touched and completely clean even though it's been almost 100 years. Problems were coming up everywhere she looked, and she soon felt like her dreams were better than real life. Cathy Cassidy presents this like it's so romantic and beautiful and doesn't even think about the mental health issues associated with suicide or why a character committing suicide for a love interest is so problematic.

In the last page is where all the magic happens, and I think Cathy could have possible spread that over more pages, possibly a chapter.

the end of this when everything tied together was pretty perfect but the story up until the final few chapters didn’t have me as hooked as Cherry Crush. I think this book is great if you're starting to feel a bit more grown up, around the age of 11/12/13. I think Alfie is going to be included more in the story especially as his storyline has something to do with Skye’s twin sister, Summer.

There's a ring and letter in the coat pocket and nobody has ever found it in almost 100 years plus it's totally intact. Sebenernya kebetulan banget minjem buku ini dari temen abis ngerasa ngegantung sama buku pertama T_T dan ternyata buku ini. She was seventeen and engaged to be married, but fell in love with a "gypsy" and when she couldn't marry him, drowned herself in the sea. It was a sweet, 100% addictive story, with some pretty great psychological suspense woven in there, that had just left me wanting more Cathy, more Skye, Summer, Cherry… I can see why Cassidy is a “Queen of Teen”.Everything else was great and Skye wasn't too annoying either (Its hard to find a good protagonist world! Skye is of course twelve years old, and she's oh so cool and unique and Not Like The Other Girls™ because she likes to wear unusual vintage clothes. Boys and makeup and fashion seem to occupy Millie's mind and Skye struggles to find the subjects interesting. the question posed as if it's a major plotpoint that Skye feels overshadowed and valued less than her sister. They used to do everything the together, but Skye starts to grow up she realises she doesn’t like doing everything the same as her sister.
