About this deal

This design produces four times as much air movement as does a piston-based design, creating higher sound pressure levels (SPLs) with lower distortion. The result is a super-wide sweet spot, balanced frequency output and stunning detail, even in the smallest control rooms. I could see these monitors to be ideal for someone that wants one thing and one thing only: making the best mixes that one could make for around €500,-. I initially was unsure whether these would fit my needs for the style of music I play, so after speaking to one of the Music Tech guys from Andertons he reassured me these would be the better choice for me.

Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.

Cant say anything about their high-end range but T7Vs are a bit hyped, mostly by their target audience. If you frequent multiple studio locations or travel aboard, there's no reason why you can't use these as part of a mobile production setup without compromising clarity and quality. The U-ART tweeter as used in the T Series is fitted to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the HPS waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series studio monitors. This was because the sound bouncing on the wall canceled out the sound coming directly from the monitors. But they both were sealed boxes with excellent impulse response, and the second didn't had any crossover.

The Adam T7V features a bevelled cabinet with a rear-firing bass reflex port and a small footprint that allows placement anywhere in your room, no matter how small and contains built-in DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalisation as well as multi-way analogue connections. The Adam T7V is a highly affordable two-way nearfield monitor perfectly optimised for small control rooms. With slightly larger rooms or bass-heavy music, the T7v is compatible with ADAM's T10S, Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers, available separately. All the different instruments were clear in the representation and I could easily identify which part of the track I did not like on a mixing perspective. However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. Great care has been taken to ensure accuracy in the preparation of this article but neither Sound On Sound Limited nor the publishers can be held responsible for its contents. On the rear panels of the T7V, an XLR connector and RCA jack respectively accept +4 dBu balanced and unbalanced -10 dBV inputs. James Larson is Audioholics' primary loudspeaker and subwoofer reviewer on account of his deep knowledge of loudspeaker functioning and performance and also his overall enthusiasm toward moving the state of audio science forward.
