It's an okay imitation of Sauvage if you're looking for something you can be a little wasteful with without having to impress anyone but yourself. Knowing that it’s a clear dupe of Aventus, I notice similarities in how Ventana and L’Aventure both open, and dry down. I will say this though; it's a masterpiece in general but i only love love love it on one guy in particular. I can't tell for sure yet if the reviews below bashing this for it's supposed poor performance are accurate, however my initial impression is that they are most likely fabrications.After it dries a bit it comes closer to Sauvage but it lacks the pepper notes which is its biggest weakness. If you dislike Sauvage, this obviously doesn't improve it in any way other than that it can be less obnoxious because it's weaker. It still gives that Sauvage vibes, but after 10-15 minutes, that lavender starts to shine and for my nose, its a 1:1 clone. None of those fragrances last less than 8 hours (including CDNIM, Tres Nuit, Blue Pour Homme, Ventana and Tag Him). it's a bit more suited for the summer because you don't really have the sharpness of Sauvage here, which is really good and also makes it good to own with Sauvage.
