About this deal

to mean that someone is cross, but artist Jean Jullien gets readers to think about it differently in this brilliant and original board book about our expressions and what causes them. The copy we have was given to us as a gift and we loved it so much, we bought this one to give as a gift. My daughter is 4 if she's drawing or painting it has to be "perfect" this book was recommended by a therapist we saw and it really has helped my daughter realise that mistakes happen and we can work with them.

This book helped him realize that he can make something beautiful from accidents and that mistakes are ok. This is what my almost-three-year-old toddler said about the book after asking me to read and read it again for about fives times in a row!Libro encantador, con diseño muy creativo y gran calidad, que se convirtió en el favorito de mi nieto de 5 años desde la primera vez que lo hojeó. When ever my children are up set for making a mistake I always remind them that Pre- K is for making a mess and it is O. Barney Saltzberg is the author and illustrator of close to 50 books for children, including Beautiful Oops! You could even invite students to come up to pull the different tabs to demonstrate a mess turning into a masterpiece! My daughter has been struggling with making mistakes, it’s often the end of the world, but this book shows the opportunities created by little ‘mistakes’.

That's the lovely life lesson behind this inspiring board book full of pop-ups, pull-the-flaps, and pretty amazing - not to mention surprising - feats of paper engineering. With close to fifty picture books published, Barney Saltzberg has been traveling the world talking about creativity and where ideas come from. I never leave reviews but, was so compelled to do so, as my 4 year old son can not put this book down! Both of my daughters love to paint and draw, which means our home is filled with watercolor paints, colored pencils, and lots of markers (with a reminder that says “Please Put Caps Back On!Kids see firsthand as they go through the book that any smudge, smear or stain can lead to something absolutely marvelous - with a little imagination. Clumsy kids will appreciate Barney Saltzberg’s imaginative book, which shows how mistakes (spills, tears, stains) can turn into something wonderful. When I first read this with my daughter (who is a 5-year-old perfectionist) I thought “cute but I doubt it will make a difference. Here, a blob of paint with a few strokes becomes a frog, and a balled up piece of garbage becomes the fleece of a lamb!

The illustrations, tears and folds throughout the book encourage interaction and engages them in the process of seeing imperfections in a new way. This deceptively simple and highly interactive board book has so much to offer readers of absolutely any age.He lectured in China and Russia through a cultural exchange program through the United States State Department. In this book, every page begins with a 'mistake' that ultimately unravels, lifts out, or pulls up to become a surprising work of beauty.

We aim to support social justices owed to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community by enhancing resources and identifying local strengths to promote successes. The message of connecting the negatives to the positive, the imagery and the art, vibes with everything my son wants to know about. A spill on your clean, white sheet of paper can morph into a wild animal, a tear in your paper can be turned into a roaring alligator mouth.

Mud , Crazy Hair Day and the bestselling Touch and Feel Kisses series with over 800,000 copies in print. I bought this for my toddlers, to remind them and myself that accidents happen and not to think the worst of everything. are filled with pop-ups, lift-the-flaps, tears, holes, overlaps, and smudges—each demonstrating the magical transformation from blunder to wonder.
