Setting up the above ground pool simply requires a flat, solid surface, an air pump and water access. When aligning chains its important to loosen off the top and bottom axle bolts before attempting the chain adjusters otherwise you will thread the adjusters as it tries to pull a fixed solid axle. To locate the puncture on an inflatable liner it is best to apply diluted washing up liquid from a spray bottle to the surface of the whole liner and around the inflation valve.

At the same time I don’t want to stand there filling it myself, many times I have tried to strap the hose to the back of a chair and angle it just right to spray into the pool. If you have run out of adjustment it may be necessary to adjust the cable length at the cross-over junction or on the cross over cable itself.

Leaving it like this can cause a lot of pressure to build on parts of the pool which could cause it to collapse.
