The opening night cast and the original cast album recording of children were Claire Hood, Jane Collins, Dawn Napier, Annette Mason, Helen Stephenson, Jackie Ekers and Linda Brewis. On July 30, Taylor Richardson and Sadie Sink both began alternating the role of Annie, replacing Crawford.

It reminded me of some of the Scottish fiction I’ve been reading recently, but from an Irish perspective.Bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter as her sister has the part of Annie in her school production. I would recommend 'Annie' for people over the age seven because Annie nearly gets killed by Aggie Hannagion and her brother Rooster Hannagion but then Mr Warbucks saves Annie! Ann Marie Gwatkin alternated with Christine Hyland, and four other Annies were cast at this point: Anne O'Rourke, Jacinta Whyte, Helen Thorne, Tracy Taylor, who were to play the role over the next year.
