The display looks very clear and the numbers displayed are of a large size which gives you a proper vision of the time without much effort. I think the same, but then they will likely be making fakes of all sorts of watches, and in China it's pretty much part of the culture of manufacturing over there, show how good you are by making a copy. If this is of importance to you, it may be worth considering the newer, albeit slightly larger, Casio A168W instead; which has much improved luminescence.

I think of this watch as a slightly more wearable version of the F-91W, with identical functionality, but with improved looks. Despite being internally identical to the F91, the Casio steel case watch does cost slightly more, likely due to the addition of a stainless-steel bracelet.
