About this deal

CPX is a new generation film forming elastomer that offers the characteristics of excellent spreadability, quick drying, improved durability and wash off resistance that further enhance flattening and softening of scars. Therefore, gel forms have replaced the sheet forms, especially in exposed areas such as the face, neck, and arms. It is a polymer (created from repeating subunits) molecule and has different molecular weight and thus different viscosity versions from water-light to thick liquid. In many studies, silicone has proven effective in ameliorating keloids and hypertrophic scars and in preventing scar formation. Both groups of patients were advised to avoid exposure of the wound to extremely cold or hot environments or to strong sunshine, to prevent irritation to the wound, and to avoid tight clothing.

The patient was “very satisfied” with the treatment, which was easy to apply, user-friendly and provided excellent wound healing. Hypertrophic scars and keloids—a review of their pathophysiology, risk factors, and therapeutic management.Dermatix 15g gel product: The minimum required amount for 2 months to treat scars, this is the amount of medicine that helps ensure a reasonable cost for a smart and economical scar treatment solution. The case series consisted of 11 patients with visible hypertrophic scars treated with topical Dermatix Ultra silicone gel alone or following appropriate additional therapeutic modalities, including wound debridement and xenograft, surgical excision, or laser therapy.

With more severe scars and depending on the location, Dermatix Ultra products may need a longer time to be used, which can range from 3 to 6 months (postpartum scar, surgical scar. The sensation of a foreign body also bothers patients, which makes consistent usage difficult and thus renders treatment less effective. If Dermatix has not dried within 4-5 minutes you have used too much, remove the excess and allow the drying process to continue. In wound healing, dehydration of an immature stratum corneum can occur, leading to the stimulation of keratinocytes, which release cytokines that in turn activate dermal fibroblasts. The patients treated with Dermatix Ultra gel performed the following steps: (1) cleaning and drying the scar area after taking a bath, (2) placing a small amount of Dermatix Ultra gel on their fingertips (in general, an amount the size of one piece of rice is enough for a 7- to 10-cm area), (3) using their fingertips to spread the gel on the scar in one direction (back-and-forth application was prohibited), (4) waiting until the gel dried before putting on clothes or makeup, and (5) using the product 2 or 3 times per day for 3 months. As scarring may have physical and psychosocial consequences, it is important to minimize scar formation after surgery and to correct non-aesthetic mature scars.
