About this deal

Even as I opened it, I was impressed by the feel of quality of the materials used for the cover and the pages. Whether you’ve completed this trip, like we have,or planning to do it,this book is fantastic…for those planning,it’s a fantastic guide, gives you honest opinions on what to expect, what to see,and what not to miss…. Insider Tips: Local tips and tricks to planning your trip, such as fuel stops, internet signal, supermarket locations, what to pack and how to prepare for your trip. so many beautiful pictures, fantastic information and really great quality, I’ve brought several NC500 books and this is far the best by a long way, it should be known as the NC500 bible, no one should consider the North Coast trip without first reading it, well done both.

While planning a motorhome tour including the NC500, its great to have a guide written by people who have done exactly that. Helping me to plan next year’s holiday on the NC500 by giving good descriptions, parking info, accessibility and whether they are dog friendly which is very important to us. We have previously done the NC500 in our car wild camping but will be headed back in our motorhome, so the road trip essentials for each location in the guide including water points and waste disposal is going to be so so helpful. I first came across Gemma and Campbell on Instagram and found that they had written this very in depth guide to the NC500.

I bought the 1st edition of this book on release and used it to plan my 10 day tour of the NC500 in April 2022. Destination NC500 offers a reliable and detailed guide to planning your trip to the northern coast of Scotland. The book is full of stunning pictures of the wonderful beaches, castles and other places of interest to visit along the NC500 it is well set out and easy to follow. I had been following you on YouTube but had no idea you had a book in the pipeline, it wasn’t till you made your epic trip to the publisher that the penny dropped.

Your book is so well put together, the photography is professional and beautiful, separating the sections of Scotland helps enormously. For my own personal viewpoint if you wanted to take your guidebooks to the next level so to speak, what about producing a guidebook that also comes with a map? The book is not just pretty pictures but chock a block full of useful information for anyone thinking of visiting the region. Would highly recommend not only to people thinking about going, but also those that live Scotland and want to know more about what there is to do there. I followed along the YouTube series and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy, and it did not disappoint.

Completed the route a couple of years ago and the photos / information provided just means we will have to do it all again. I have been to Sutherland and and stayed at Kylesku 3 times and explored some of the surrounding areas but want to explore more I thought there guide would be of great help and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.
