About this deal

Schooled to be a perfect lady, Programmed to behave like a Stepford wife, as she and her sister Judy have to hide their ambitions, thoughts, emotions and opinions to themselves and trim their personalities to fit into the "Pastor's Family" expected framework.

Though she emanates pain in visceral waves, there is an inherent strength to her as she finally lives a life of her choosing, standing up to not just her cheating husband but her spiteful mother and the narrow-minded townspeople. Not going to lie, when Grace legit told the whole town about Finn’s cheating and him getting with her best friend, it was giving major, “IDGAF” attitude and I was here for it! I love Grace's sister, Judy, she is so amazing and unexpected, as well as, her other best friend, Josie. Spending days and nights talking about their likes, dislikes, dreams and sharing their love for books, will soon have them realizing their hearts are far beyond entwined. First off how could it not be a 5 star read (for me) god the feels, those feels came at me out of no where, I could not stand her mother, my bloody blood boiled, and I hated how Grace was so weak at the age of 30 when it came to standing up to her, but then oh so slowly we saw Grace come into her own and it was such a beautiful thing to watch, she stole my heart, I wanted to jump in the book and high five her, she changed within a blink of an eye, from weak to such a strong female within her right. There are very few authors I know of who can inspire such deep emotions with their writing the way she does. Otherwise, you’ll spend your life trying to be everything for everyone else, and one hundred percent of the time, you’ll still not be enough.

I appreciated how she cared for others and was genuinely good, but I really struggled with how she let people treat her.You knew a book was amazing when you missed the transition from the sun shining to the sky fading to black. The most amazing thing about picking up a Brittainy Cherry book is that you're guaranteed to have an emotional storm in your heart.

It takes a lot of courage, a lot of patience and a lot of generosity of spirit, all of which Grace Harris has in abundance. It’s easy to look outside your world and make blanket statements and judgents on who those people are. Esconden verdaderas joyas llenas de sentimientos que no os podéis perder si sois amantes del género romántico. It's poetry in motion, changing mood from poignant to angry to lusty to passionate to angsty to frustration and eventually acceptance. It had been sitting on my Kindle Unlimited list for a while but once I got started I was blown away.

It's a tale about two broken people in dire need of fixing themselves and each other but finding out who they are along the way. I've been in somewhat of a reading slump for the past couple of months — I just never know what I'm in the mood for and have been starting and stopping lots of books because they end up not being what I want in the moment. God my heart went out to Jackson, my first crack was reading about him as a ten year old boy, then as he got older and the darkness crept in, my heart cracked in half. After all this poor heroine suffered (betrayal by her cheating husband, brainwashing by her parents, 7 miscarriages) I wished for a stronger man for her. After 63 novels and a slew of short stories, omnibuses, audio dramas, and more – this is the End and the Death.
