About this deal
As it was such a process to get into the water, we then ended up having to wait over half an hour for everyone else to get past the break.
Here is a link to a totally independent review of one of our kayaks which is very relevant to this forum as it is from a group of kayak fishing enthusiasts: Gosea Angler Sport so hopefully that will add some balance to the comments.Spec wise, it seems to measure up to other more expensive kayaks, but heavier, which doesn't alarm me. We're passionate about sea kayaking and love to use traditional sea kayaks that are easier to paddle than sit on top kayaks and are speedier too. Our guides are very experianced and fully qualified with no less than a BCU 4 star sea leader award and Taran our lead guide is a BCU 5 star sea leader. Agile and Stable the GoSea Wayfarer single seater sit in canoes and kayaks are great for recreational use such as day excursions on lakes, rivers or in the sea as well as fishing, photographing, and just having fun.
There is nothing more cleansing and invigorating than the sea… there must be something in the water!By way of a shakedown cruise I've just taken this boat down the Menai Strait on a spring tide and it performed nicely. It is very steady on the water which is great for me as I don't want the hassle of falling in or getting too wet as the canal isn't very clean. Yes you can go out and pay whatever you like for kayaks and they will be faster and lighter and will no doubt have a coffee machine built into it but as it's only a hobby I was never prepared to pay more that what I have done. The only other thing I'd say is that if this is a UK manufacturer then it would be good if all of us could give them some direct quality feedback.
