About this deal

The cardboard flooring of the box is printed to look like a lush grassy area of land with stone cobble paths and bricks scattered, just like in the game, and it serves to create a micro-vignette when viewing from above. I think you may want to look into Nendoroids and Figma which also make Nintendo figures but their anime figures are popular in the United States and many collectors are quite rabid. Mario · Peach · Yoshi · Donkey Kong · Link · Fox · Samus · Wii Fit Trainer · Villager · Pikachu · Kirby · Marth · Zelda · Diddy Kong · Luigi · Little Mac · Pit · Captain Falcon · Rosalina · Bowser · Lucario · Toon Link · Sheik · Ike · Shulk · Sonic · Mega Man · King Dedede · Meta Knight · Robin · Lucina · Wario · Charizard · Ness · Pac-Man · Greninja · Jigglypuff · Palutena · Dark Pit · Zero Suit Samus · Ganondorf · Dr.

I, myself, have a pretty decent collection of Nintendo Nendoroids developing and these Japanese made figures are known for being some of the highest quality figures around. You can also use amiibo on your New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL by tapping them to the NFC area on the bottom screen. The initial reveal of the Guardian at E3 in 2014, in particular, was an opportunity to gawp at the octopus-like dexterity of Link's latest foes. Maybe it was just in my mind but Guardian looked in the promo shots like one of the biggest Amiibos yet and it was going to cost more than any Amiibo outside of Mega Yarn Yoshi.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) Guardian is a figure from the second Wave of The Legend of Zelda line of Amiibo. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. If you don't plan on using the amiibo for any gameplay purposes, it's still a really cool display item.

In the Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild game, the Guardian amiibo unlocks items such as getting rare guardian weapons and items. For Nintendo to promise to craft this stunningly designed baddie in amiibo form was to capture metaphorical lightning in a jar, and in 2017 they ultimately released the beast. The poseability and versatility of this amiibo also lends itself well to potentially using it for fan-made Zelda movies, as you could easily craft a stunning stop motion sequence with this one; you couldn't say that about any other amiibo figure. When the Guardian came out in 2017 alongside BotW, the main purpose was to bolster you with Ancient materials and Gems, and to unlock Guardian Weapons up to ++, Guardian Shields up to ++, Ancient Cores, Ancient Arrows and Rusty Weapons. Fast forward to 2020 and amiibo rarely gets any mention as the once continuous wave of new models has all but dried up, and so too has demand.Rover · Blathers · Tom Nook · Pelly · Phyllis · Pete · Mabel · Leif · Wendell · Cyrus · Grams · Timmy · Digby · Don Resetti · Isabelle · Franklin · Jingle · Lily · Anchovy · Tabby · Kody · Miranda · Del · Paula · Ken · Mitzi · Rodeo · Bubbles · Cousteau · Velma · Elvis · Canberra · Colton · Marina · Spork · Freckles · Bam · Friga · Ricky · Deidre · Hans · Chevre · Drago · Tangy · Mac · Eloise · Wart Jr. That’s something pretty unique and it would be fun to be able to mess around with other amiibo like that, too. NFC functionality is always a bone of contention with these things, and it's invariably quite rare that an amiibo has such a range of games available to have it used within. I forgot to snap a picture of the back of the box in my last review so I did it this time so you can see what Nintendo says Guardian can do in-game.

He drops 3 metal boxes and a chest when scanned in game, the boxes contain guardian parts and the chest contains guardian weapons. I also like the fact you can use this amiibos for Zelda BoW once everyday in the game which maximizes the use of this amiibo and any other amiibo since you can literally use ANY amiibo figurine on the Zelda game for he switch.

Any complaints I have with the figure are either unrealistic or so minor I can hardly fault Nintendo in the design here. Loved this Keith Haring toy, it engrossed my 4 year old just as much as it fascinated me - hours of fun, and it looks so good too. The head would also be on a pivot too, in my vision of the perfect amiibo, purely to recreate the automaton-style movement of this character.

As an Amiibo: Having played Zelda BOTW to the halfway point, I purchased this amiibo for it's in-game bonuses. Embedded within the six foam rubber legs are bendable metal rods that can be moulded and twisted to your every whim. The painting is really well done for what it is and I think they truly make a great collectible for anyone that's a fan of the series. Well not all things the US exports are good but I think it is nice that other countries’ like what we do!

amiibo life is a fan site that allows amiibo enthusiasts to track their collections and wish lists and, if desired, share them with others. Definitely it will be my pleasure to share your article or ask you questions regarding Nintendo figures. The attention to detail is incredible, given that they added color to some of the smallest part of the Amiibo. Base – The only place I might criticize this Amiibo is that the ground that is breaking underneath the Guardian needed more color or texture or something.
