About this deal

Low viscosity wets out corrosion for full conversion and facilitates penetration of flanges and seams.

Of course, where steel is rotted through, I'll be cutting it out and welding in good metal, but I'm concerned about rust in pitted areas. The long-term performance of Bilt Hamber Hydratehydrate 80 has been proven to significantly increase coating life in independent tests conducted by the German TÜV organisation under conditions of VDA 621-415 (6 cycles, or 1008 hrs) which included exposure to hot salt-spray, 100% relative humidity and drying atmospheres with each cycle lasting 168 hours. However, like with anything, you need to make sure it's cleaned rust and there is nothing lose left on the surface. I just checked the thermometer app on my phone, and my bedrooms now dropped to a "Bracing" 12'C, but it's apparently just above freezing outside. Even sitting in the garage and sanding stuff for more than half an hour makes me ache from my ankles to my lower back these days, and today I stupidly kept doing half an hour until the pain built up to "Scream out loud" levels, then back into the house to lay down, take another painkiller, and whimper for a bit.Proven long-term rust prevention over partially prepared surfaces - massively increases the life of paint applied to partially cleaned steel. Also, what kind of temperatures could whatever it turns rust into take once it had finished reacting? Oh, BTW, before anyone has a panic attack about me running what is in essence a camping stove inside the house. Does anyone else over the age of 45 get a vague feeling of "Wrongness" about mixing metric and imperial fasteners on one machine/tool/device?

All the enamel is either off already, or it's in the process of coming off, so that shouldn't be a factor in paint adhesion. Boosts the corrosion protection of coatings applied to steel that has been cleaned by blast cleaning or other methods. Our Double Speed-Wax has won the “best wax and sealant” award in the Auto-Express magazine product awards for the last 4 years, winning 5 years in total. As for photos, the things in kit form at the minute, with some bit's in the garage, some swimming in a bucket of Deox C sat in the bath (Don't ask), and one bit's still waiting to take it's turn in the bucket, so it's not really "Photo shoot ready".hydrate 80 provides powerful protection to rusted steel surfaces, its electrochemical function stabilises existing corrosion by converting the iron oxides into a protective metal complex, it also combines with surface moisture and oxygen depriving the corrosion process of the conditions it requires.

This old house apperes to have more than enough natural ventilation (Read "Horrendous ice cold drafts") to keep the level well below the accepted 9ppm safe constant limit. My health took a pretty significant nose dive, and I've spent several months feeling ill as hell, and wallowing in a hole of self pity. With the recommended 2 costs you end up with a relatively thick coating - brush marks may be evident. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Sounds like that should be as good a prep base for it as any, though a wipe down with Surfex HD after going at it with brush as a belt and braces step wouldn't hurt. Tested by the German TUV organisation and proven to provide performance equalling primers applied to clean steel.

Wash hands with soap and water after contact and in case of contact with eyes wash with plenty of running water and seek medical attention. Yeah, I'm fixing it up to use, in case we DO get these rolling power cuts the government's been hinting at !
