Overall, Itch is a great and thrilling book with an easy to read storyline that will help kids to understand elements! I reviewed the first book in this series, Itch (link at left leads to my review), last April and loved it so much that I went hunting for a copy of Itch Rocks in London, knowing it had already been released in the UK.

Itch is an exciting action packed story involving the periodic table and the exciting possibilities of the chemical elements. Soon, a malevolent teacher, an evil-doing corporation, and a top-secret government agency are all after Itch.

Stumbling across an unknown radioactive element and trying to keep it out of the hands of those who want to use it for their own ends was hard enough. Like many kids, he's a collector-magpie, but football stickers and manga-style cards aren't his thing.There were some interesting hints about family dynamics early on in the book - the relationship between Itch's parents, why the family moved from London to Cornwall - that seemed to have been dropped or forgotten during the headlong rush of the exciting chase denouement. Meanwhile Jack and Darcy retrieve Darcy's diving gear, and Darcy dives to retrieve the loftium, but his air canister only has 35 minutes of air.
