I took one and compared it to a friend of mines 13' two handed Bamboo rod that was just unbelievably heavy and didn't have a very good action, it was too slow and just terribly heavy and too soft. If you need the durability of the lugged sole, or just love the classics, these will not disappoint. So you can make a bamboo rod that will bend under stress a certain way, and you can make a glass rod that will bend under stress a certain way, and then a graphite rod, they all are going to cast good you know?
