About this deal
ca base "Our Suggested Age" ranges on these manufacturer recommendations, as well as considering which ages will enjoy the product. it also features three play modes for listening to music, playing learning games and getting active.
These days Lara is more interested in the activities on the plate than the walker itself so she likes to take the plates off and sit with them on the floor. The activity centre is great my friend had one and I borrowed hers but my daughter loves it so much I bought her one. In addition, the music quality should be improved and the song should be either lengthened or varied to avoid monotony. We also got her a couple of other push walker type toys to try some variety, but she had no interest what-so-ever in any other walker but the Learning Band walker.
As a former teacher, I have a special place in my heart for anything for kids that can both entertain and teach. I have 2, not so little boys, that tried to put this toy through the ringer, but it's still going strong! As the weeks went by of us using it he is standing with it alot more and even learning to kind of walk with it too!The Leapfrog Baby Walker boasts 5 features that make it stand apart from the VTech walker and they are all things that make me, as a parent, very happy. The table is great because our LO isn't standing but we took off the legs and he really gets into it.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. On our living room carpet (which has a very shallow pile) we found the VTech walker to slip rather than roll. The clip on our VTech didn't work properly so the plate kept falling off (Nanny's one doesn't behave this way); on the Leapfrog walker the plate clips off and on from the sides (very easy to do). BabyCenter is committed to providing the most helpful and trustworthy pregnancy and parenting information in the world.Grows with your child by easily transforming from a baby gym with dangling toys to a light-up activity panel and into a walker with speed control.
At first my son was just trying to stand with it and when I would help him he would sit right down after getting up! The wheels on the Leapfrog Scout and Friends Baby Walker have a small textured strip around them which makes them a lot more grippy and so the movement is far more natural. We got that walker as a hand me down, my sister only used it for one baby and it has stopped working.Wide legs, lockable wheels and non-slip wheels are all things that I've felt are lacking in the VTech product for years.
