The bass and dynamics gradually improved after the first 10-15 hours of break-in, along with the level of fine detail.

It sounds so good since I got it properly set up and broken in that I'm reluctant to swap it out but the shure m25c that's currently on the technics is not gonna cut it for me, even though at this point the technics is my backup. In comparison, my memory of the Ortofon 2M Red (on a different table, mind you) was of a rougher sound.

With the replacement styluses being affordable I won't be tempted to keep one going beyond it's best.
