About this deal

For starters, the set’s Dolby Vision IQ/Bright settings are both too bright, bringing out noise in dark scenes that isn’t supposed to be visible, and giving such content a pronounced grey/green hue. They've recently started to add gaming features like variable refresh rate (VRR) support, so they compete with some other brands.

system with 40W of power and support for both hi-res digital audio formats and Dolby Atmos soundtracks. But at least the dynamic preset proves there really are Quantum Dots inside this TV, unlike the much less saturated other preset options that we would normally look to for the most beguiling and consistent picture quality experiences. And the panel itself is more reflective than has lately become the norm - and when you combine this trait with the lack of ‘pop’ to images, especially when viewed in daylight, it makes for a less-than-satisfactory experience. There's some noticeable dirty screen effect in the center of the screen, which can be distracting when watching sports or browsing the web. The U7H gets brighter in HDR and SDR, so highlights pop more with HDR content and the TV overcomes glare better with SDR content in a bright room.Dolby Vision is also delivers HDR content - handling everything from deep blacks to vibrant colours, and it’s perfect for moody dark scenes. Still, it has very good peak brightness that helps it deliver an impressive HDR experience, with great SDR brightness to match.

Given the rather random nature of Hisense’s model-naming decision processes, then, it’s probably best to attribute the findings of this review strictly to the E7K Pro range. Crampton And Moore (Television) Limited are a credit broker and are Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Enjoy Over one billion shades of colours can be reproduced on your display with quantum dot technology with Hisense TV brings breakthrough immersive audio experience to your home whether it is shows, games or live sports. By the time you’ve combined the limited brightness with the 55A7GQ’s lack of black level depth, though, you’ve got HDR images that scarcely look HDR at all.The Hisense is also much better when it comes to HDR due to its better color volume, wide color gamut, and better HDR peak brightness, so HDR content is more vibrant and lifelike, and bright highlights pop more than they do on the X75K.
