Towards the end of the book, another line goes "I can be Cuban in Miami, Africa, or London" *face-palm*. I drafted this review around last week of December, but I got distracted with Kdramas (Mr Queen and Uncanny Counter!Lila’s grief was really well written and her struggles were often a bit dramatic but Lila is 17 and things that happen at that age, feel dramatic.

The highest compliment I can give this book is that I loved the fact that Lila is a baker, and an all around incredible cook. His mum’s early-onset (FTD) Dementia gives Orion a unique outlook––he never asks too much of the world, accepting what he can’t control.I haven't been outside of the US except for a vacation to Canada and I need to go to Europe so much.
