Seriously, all I catch is a hint of burnt sugar, and that takes, like, 10 minutes to show up on my skin. Gradually, the fragrance evolves into a sensual blend, with amber wood and a subtle jasmine note that makes it incredibly unisex. Several types of cedars are used in perfumery, but this one comes into play in the heart and base, which gives a kind of verticality to its woody theme.

But the few who could,smelled it in my workplace and were asking where is this amazing smell coming from. No point spending so much money on something I only want to smell every now and then, when the clones do such a good job and there are no shortages of them.The fragrances I dislike is a short list that includes hyped fragrances like Santal 33, Instant Crush and Blessed Baraka, and I simply don't like them. I hereby recognize having checked the wording to engrave, the positioning on the bottle, the engraving style and color. A poetic alchemy composed by Francis Kurkdjian, where the aerial notes of jasmine and the radiance of saffron carry mineral facets of ambergris and woody tones of a freshly cut cedar wood making this a graphic and highly condensed signature.

I wish it wasn't as popular as it is, both the original and the variations of this fragrance - unfortunately it gives me an immediate nausea.

Baccarat is an interesting fragrance to me, because it smells incredible on other people, but absolutely god-awful when I put it on myself. This was a love (the biggest love) at first sniff a few years ago, but I almost never wear it now because yes it is overdone with all the clones and that’s such a pity. There's literally no life in my bottle (biggest one) and I never ever ever reach for it because it just upsets me tremendously that I even have it, that it is just such a waste.

This wasn’t even a perfume that got me a lot of compliment but I loved wearing it because I could smell every note in this. Luminous and sophisticated, Baccarat Rouge 540 lays on the skin like an amber, floral, and woody breeze. But there are definetly a few people who just love to hate on hyped fragrances by saying it's overrated and also to stand out.

Maybe my skin chemistry is thwarting the fragrance, who knows, but I’ll say this, there are times when you take away the weird medicine underbelly that the fragrance reminds me of red silk over a lighted lamp in a dark room, and the progression is like seeing the shadows of the surrounding objects billowing through its walls.

I honestly dont get how Armaf and Al Haramain thought Untold and Ruby were replicating either the EDT or the Extrait correctly. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris' Baccarat Rouge 540 is a niche composition mixed from high quality ingredients and aimed at the person who does not want to smell like every fourth guest in the room. I don't dislike the smell and will still be wearing my fragrance, but I think it's more of a random day sort of pick and not a go-to for special occasions.

I know some people are anosmic to this one, but I don’t understand how you couldn’t absolutely love it. Drawing from the fragrance house's equestrian tailoring roots, this scent is Creed's ultimate interpretation of the vast country estates it holds dear to its heart.
