About this deal

This feature also means that Boox devices have better integration with other software applications and are more likely to fit into your existing workflows. Ho acquistato questo eBook reader in sostituzione di uno precedente e sono rimasta sbalordita dalle molteplici funzionalità. There are no LEDs here, but you can alter screen brightness from the pull-down menu, choosing between yellow or blue light and dimming options, which I found worked great in most environments.

You can force-bold titles, for example, which helps create a clearer visual hierarchy, which is sometimes missing when there’s no colour on-screen. A framework with a higher degree of freedom, richer components, personalized interaction and functional experience.

It's a flexible, powerful, and premium-feeling tablet that will serve your PDF-reading needs exceptionally well. Some mention that the app that comes with it is easy to use and can export to Onenote and that the magnet design allows for easy attachment of the stylus. The Note Air 2 Plus’s screen has a slight texture to it, creating resistance when used with the bundled stylus. But with all the other options available for file transfers and integration with other devices, there is, in my opinion, no need for a dedicated app. The device is designed primarily for reading e-books, but it also has some additional features which are defined by the installed software.

The added benefit of Android has the same effect on the utility of this tablet as Red Bull on people's forelimbs. They feature color and brightness sliders for the front light; darkness and contrast sliders for image rendering; and four different refresh rate options. Its matte finish diffuses light so is readable in almost all environments, and when the lights drop, you can manipulate both the warm and cool front light. The writing experience on the NA2+ is very nice, but (in my opinion) is not quite as pleasant as it is on other devices, such as the Supernote, reMarkable 2 and Kindle Scribe. The purpose of this section is to establish what efforts have been made to ensure the product can be safely and sustainably disposed of.

JC's Short comments: Note Air2 Plus has good performance, good writing experience, excellent battery performance, appearance and workmanship is also a instant choice, but it is one level cheaper than Tab Ultra. Onyx also gives you plenty of screen refresh modes to choose from, so you can customise each app to display just the way you want it to. Turn on the backlight, and this time goes down significantly, but you can still expect a solid few days of regular use from the backlit Note Air 2 Plus. Huawei's MatePad Paper is another alternative to the Note Air 2 Plus, though isn't as compelling owing to a sorely lacking software experience. The best ones are NeoReader and BooxDrop, the latter of which allows the drag-and-drop of files via a web browser.

Unfortunately, it does not support ebooks that are protected with DRM, so you would have to use third-party apps rather than the native reader to view these files. There are no ports or buttons on the top, bottom or right sides of the tablet, while the left side sports the power button and USB-C port, as well as the loudspeaker.

BOOX has delivered what other e-ink writing tablets could not for me, which is parity with my existing process and workflow. There's only one button on this device, and only one port: a Power button and a USB-C port, both on the left side along with the underwhelming single speaker. The absence of flickering frontlight and the principle of image formation using the "electronic ink" method makes reading eye-friendly. The reason the software plays such a big part in the Note Air 2 Plus’s display versus the competition, is that you can choose a range of refresh styles. Within Neoreader, you can annotate and scribble on all the file formats, but be aware that although you can view your handwriting on your NA2+, you will only be able to export embedded handwriting in PDF files for viewing on other devices.
