Boss Selection is an elegant aromatic fougere fragrance - a subtle fusion of classic and modern for the charismatic man with a vision of where he’s going and what he wants to achieve. Very much a citrus fragrance, it also oddly has a hint of lavender - despite not actually containing it! On me this alternates between fresh and spicy and a warm, earthy slightly floral accord that I find captivating. Surprisingly, what I go out of it was warm citrus that doesn't feel cloying or one dimensional, but rather subtle and refined, hence the description which this scent fits perfectly.

It kind of reminds me a little of Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir, a scent I used to own that’s now discontinued. Indeed as previous reviewers have pointed out Selection is rather generic and despite being tremendously appeasing and soothing to the senses in a calm and sensual way, the projection is far too subtle for such a clean and inoffensive scent.
