So this was after the boys’ 16th birthdays, July 18th +3 months, placing SB’s events at somewhere at least mid-October, even November.

For his one-year anniversary in the Mafia, Chūya is surprised by his friends, the Flags, who hand him a photograph of him as an ordinary child after going behind Ōgai Mori's back to uncover Chūya's background. Verlaine survives after Rimbaud used his ability to resuscitate him and comes to terms with Rimbaud before the latter finally passes on, and Verlaine gets confined in a Mafia underground shelter as an executive training assassins. As compared to the previous six, this novel is the longest, most laborious, and the one written in a lot of different places all the while groaning as I think about the this and the that, and all the possibilities that could happen. Storm Bringer asks whether having a human soul or a human body is enough to make you human, even if constructed.Using Verlaine's memory and as per Verlaine's plea to his brother, Arahabaki Chūya unleashes his energy on Guivre and defeats it. Since there was a time skip of a month at the end of Fifteen, the punching incident can’t have been from then, as we need at least that amount of time for Dazai’s birthday to have already passed.

The conflict lasted for 88 days, nearly 3 months, bringing us to a bare minimum of it starting at the tail end of January.

Chuuya being mostly unresponsive (that was a whole lot of physical and mental trauma in a very short time), the whole thing hit way too close to home. in Storm Bringer, Iceman mentions Chuuya punching a guy through (several) ceilings for having asked him about his past.
