Next step is blending the whiskies, so several different malt whiskies are selected then blended together to find the right flavour. Distilled three times from 100% malted barley and matured for a minimum of 10 years mainly in selected American oak casks - a gentle maturation which lends soft vanilla notes to the whiskey. As you’d imagine, it's a blend of their whiskies aged for at least ten years in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks.
