Fish, blood and bone is a very safe fertiliser, especially when dug into the soil but as with all products, the user should follow the safety directions on the label. Please Note: To offer the best possible value, smaller weights are repackaged into clear packaging with a black and white label and larger quantities will be supplied in manufacturer’s bags. If the soil has been dry, it may take longer for the fertiliser to dissolve, so you can either provide water or leave it a little longer until the next feed. Organic Fish, Blood and Bone Feed has been used as a garden fertiliser for as long as any gardener can remember and the balanced nutrient spread of this most traditional of plant feeds makes it ideal for use all around the garden.You can also feed with a small measuring cup such as those you will find on top of liquid fertilizer bottles. They say that it provides a good source of nutrients for the garden, keeps their plants and bushes healthy, and adds fresh nourishment to face the colder weather. The fertiliser can be easily applied to soil with either a rake or a hoe making it ideal for both new and experienced gardeners.

All operators must be trained and certificated in using and applying any Ministry Approved Professional Product (MAPP). This fertiliser does have a slight odour to it that is noticeable when the lid is first opened but it’s nothing compared to manure or chicken-based feeds and has never been an issue for us. Tubs will be plain white with a black and white label with all relevant information and application rates detailed. Applied throughout the growing season, Blood, Fish and Bone can be used prior to sowing or planting or as a top dressing. CAUTION: Occasionally dogs and other animals may be attracted to the smell of Fish Blood and Bone meal.
