I must say, the scent is okay, definately more of a summer scent however it kind of reminds me of my grandma and something she would wear. Although Friction is not likely an expensive fragrance anywhere in the world, I could easily spend much less on a nice spray. Very light in terms of full scent and projection is like a body spray, I'll use it up in the summer but I won't repurchase again along with private show just coz its a bit flat I enjoy a bit more coconut and flowers in my summer scent like utopia coco by kayali for instance is favorite.

Maybe this perfume is taking it self a little too seriously, holding back from being a coconut fruit cocktail bomb that screams 'pool party' but from reading the reviews I think that's maybe what people were hoping for. First sniff and I know I can't use this perfume now cause it's winter BUT I will absolutely wear this in the summer months, it's very fresh and sweet on my skin, I can smell the vanilla and a bit of coconut, the musk is there and the honeysuckle too. It's pleasant and inoffensive but there is no lasting power and in disappears in five minutes on me. Just a non descript pleasant easy reach sweet, creamy scent, perfect for summer and I imagine will be good too layer with. So I'm happy she gets to wear it instead of me, because now I can smell her from time to time and still enjoy this frag. It came with a body spray and lotion, which actually smell really nice, I hate when the lotions have a weak perfume smell and more of a plastic/unscented lotion smell. On the one side; this has the creamy coconut scent that's so difficult for me to find in perfumes (most smell like bug spray with my skin chemistry eg. The perfume smells really pretty, it's a soft coconut and vanilla mix with a nice sweetness from the sugar.

Bobbi Brown Beach I have been wearing for the last few summers, and this knocks that out of the water. There's a slight masculine edge to this that I find common in some of the more cheaply made fragrances. From the woody notes, the most prominent on me is the sandalwood, it addd depth to the fragrance and keeps it from being an a run-of-the-mill edible gourmand. I would like to love this - it's a fresh, sweet, summery coconut scent, but it has a slighly masculine note on me - like men's shaving cream. I don't hate this though, its very clean and gentle, like soft clean pineapple scented skin but I don't really like it either.I've bought every jasmine scent they make probably, and so the combination of sweet things (red berries, spun sugar, coconut, vanilla) and jasmine just makes me think of Bath and Body Works. The closest I got before this was Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Coco Figue as I thought the Coco Extreme smelled too fake. that opens with a burst of sweet tropical coconut featuring something like pineapple (not listed) and transitions to a musky white floral coconut with caramel touches. My only complaint is that I can literally only smell it for mere minutes; it is that weak on me with virtually no sillage. This is not something that is complex or mind blowing , but I don't feel that I need that all of the time.It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so, and I think this fragrance would be perfect for summer, but I believe it could also work in winter too.

Perfect perfume for summer days when u want a fruity , sweet, moderate coconut scent I use this in the heat in the day as my perfume and the sol de janiro 71 mist for my clothes and hair, they layer very well together. Not one I would have gravitated toward usually but a friend has this and I couldn't help but notice the pineapple cut glass bottle. Sampled this today while looking for a gift for a friend, and I think it's safe to say I want a bottle for myself now.The coconut in FCUK Friction is very well behaved and doesnt demand attention or dominate the other notes. I thought it may have just been a fluke, but I've tried wearing this perfume multiple times with similar results.
