Just for the Summer" gains points for me for being more than a Hallmark romance — trigger warnings for those who may be dealing with childhood PTSD — but I came away feeling this darker side pushed the book away from traditional Jiminez writing and more into the territory of Colleen Hoover. If she hadn't extracted her head from delulu-land, I would've given this one star so brace yourself while reading this.Fans of Abby will devour this one and readers who may be new to her writing will no doubt want to go back and connect all the dots from her previous work.
