About this deal
All this with the countless uninspiring flankers to the supposed EDP concentrates, which turned out to be worse than the EDT's. I personally am not the biggest fan, as I find the lavender to be overwhelming and maybe too mature for me, however I could definitely see someone liking this cologne if they absolutely loved lavender. Others long for the glorious batches of the early years and curse YSL for the numerous reformulations that have made LNDL so you don't really know whether you've sprayed yourself with water or perfume.
You hope this new release captures The magic of the original and La Nuit de L'Homme, one was uninspiring and the second of those was huge hype job. I hope like another poster stated, that this is actually good, otherwise YSL may as well give it a rest until they come up with something good for a change. But let's go to its disadvantages, the odor sillage is moderate to low, and unfortunately its Longevity is very poor.
Personally, I still hold a preference for the original La Nuit De l'Homme, but I would not mind having this perfume in my collection either. If Yves Saint Laurent releases a proper, potent version of La Nuit, (No, La Nuit Intense is not it), they can have my money.Blue Electrique" is like the original "La Nuit de l'Homme", but with a bit more maturity and less of an one-sided character. Sweet, fresh, clean, smells absolutely fabolous, it is also still widely available and kind of cheap in Europe. I fell in love with the scent but it was the bottle that drew me in because it was so classy yet distinct among the bottles on either side of it.
