About this deal

No two relationships are the same, yet there are shared experiences and memories to which every mother can relate. A graduate of Xavier University with degrees in Communication Arts and Education, she has been a featured speaker at reading and writing conferences. When the mouse is done, they can colour it with paint or crayons, add some googly eyes, a pom-pom for the nose and some yarn or string for the tail.

This resource includes five shapes that children will have to cut out and then pin together to create their own mouse. I have been deeply, deeply burdened and saddened to see many Christian women authors (and many readers) not have the wisdom to grasp this concept. The message of this book is full of shaming statements for mothers who don’t do things a certain way, the author’s way. I loved how she wrote honestly that complaining and being negative is addictive, and robs yourself, your husband and your children of joy.Prior to this, a mirror was sometimes employed, placed on the prisoner’s shoulder, to capture both views on the same photograph. A self-confessed “feral kid who was raised in libraries”, Author of the Month Neil Gaiman, spent much of his childhood devouring the books of J. Children will have to simply cut and fold to create a paper mouse which is perfect for your classroom display, role-play area or even as something lovely for them to take home. Photography as a means of identifying criminals is henceforth to be introduced into all prisons as a necessary part of the prison routine.

Whether you're looking to add a touch of playfulness or make a bold statement, the Little Prints A-Z collection helps you spell it out in style! Chris has illustrated several books for Sleeping Bear Press including M is for Mom: A Child's Alphabet; The Lucky Star, Rudy Rides the Rails, Pappy’s Handkerchief, a 2007 Bank Street College of Education Best Book of the Year. Example: “I don’t give a rip about your three-day clothes” then adds disclaimers like ‘as long as you’ve seen different people those three days’ then sympathizes she has occasionally worn an article of clothing twice herself. I was interested in picking up this book because I do see the complaining culture of motherhood, trying to one up each other on just how bad our day as a mother was. Each chapter ends with a narrative from the world (the world's take on the chapter she just finished), the biblical narrative, and practical homework for achieving the topics in that chapter.

She has many tips which she always gives a good example from her own life, but fails to talk about any of the science behind her ideas to back it up. A featured speaker at reading and writing conferences, she hopes that M is for Mom will encourage readers of all ages to honor and cherish special times together. Allow your students the freedom to assemble the shapes in the way they believe represents the mouse, and foster creativity by providing a range of engaging art and craft materials to decorate the finished product.
