I do enjoy the plot twist and the idea of a love triangle forming, but I feel as though the character of Subaru (the best friend) isn't introduced well. But that yankee is Tsugumi, an Omega who doesn't use suppressants and deals with his heats through sheer willpower. Due to the series' surprise popularity, it has continued to see translations in many languages, with the possibility of more to come. However, I have to add that I do love the fact that the rival is also an alpha, so we're getting a alpha x alpha x omega love triangle! Megumi, whose behavior is different from other alphas, confuses Tsugumi and leaves him torn between rage and desire.Usually in most omegaverse narratives (and I've read a lot), the omega is immediatly corrupted by his desires and once he gives in, the dilemma results more towards the alpha. In the first volume, we just see him as a side character to advance plot, and in one chapter he suddenly becomes the main rival!
