It was probably 5 hours, the two of us, me with the wired controller on the sofa and him sat on the floor. I guess it's petty, but everyone is still credited in each game, so...idk doesn't seem like too big a deal. It is pretty petty, but also...it's so petty that I both don't really care, and think it's kinda funny they'd do this little thing just to slight Kojima. The very limited button customization misses out on an opportunity to maximize the controller how you wish. Instead, only the face buttons can be interchanged. You could change your Action or First Person to the Square button, but R1 and L1 are off the table. Since this menu is an overlay of the original game, the opportunity to add customization is sorely missed.

Fixed an issue where some buttons were assigned multiple functions (Details on the updated controls are available in the Online Manual) Naturally, the same goes for all of the games in this bundle. The only outlier is a shared Platinum between Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Still, you can go after it twice over the two versions to maximise your trophy chasing. The PS2 Dynamic Duo Despite year one generally being slow for any new console, there still seems to be quite a lot of news being released daily. Arnna Hmm.. nothing done to improve them? Well, the HD Collection never included MGS1. The two NES titles (MG1 & Snakes Revenge) were never re-released before. The MSX versions of MG1 & 2 previously were only accessible in MGS3 (leading to people unaware of this when buying the original collection) and are now accessible on their own. MGS1 Integral which had bonus features but was only in Japan is now playable. Visual and technical Bugs that were in the HD Collection have been fixed. Trophies were added to MG1, 2, and MGS. New trophies were added to MGS2 & 3. You can customize your save file in MGS1 Integral for the Mantis section. New disc swap animation and option to switch between different regions is expected. Oh, you can actually pause cutscenes now (albeit, there's a delay but a new feature nonetheless).To play this game on PS5, your system may need to be updated to the latest system software. The Volume 1 line-up features the original titles and beginning of the Metal Gear series, including the original versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid (which also includes VR Missions / Special Missions), and the HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This is simply a neat inclusion from the Master Collection; the actual sequel to Metal Gear is Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, not this. Play it if you like, but you're not missing out on much. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2004. The prequel to the original Metal Gear is set in the 1960s, and puts players in control of Naked Snake (aka Big Boss, the antagonist of the very first game in the franchise) on a mission set largely in Soviet Russia. Metal Gear Solid 3 introduced a camouflage-based layer to the franchise’s stealth-based gameplay, along with close-quarters combat mechanics. And this news is one that will make many PlayStation fans extremely happy. Metal Gear Solid Collection Coming To PS5 While Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, and Metal Gear: Snake's Revenge released first, some of them are no longer considered canon while others are incredibly dated. Consider playing them after you've understood the plot of the first three games. mgs2 and mgs3 are merely upscaled from 720p to 1080p and are NOT native 1080p. the picture is soft and you will not see much of a difference playing the ps3 hd collection on a modern tv since your tv will do the upscaling to 1080p anyways. a modder has already patched the collection so that it runs the games at 1080p and even 4k (with old textures of course) but that is a steep improvement over what konami released! konami does not deserve another dollar for the fans. stay away!While 4Chan can often post false rumours, it does have a history of posting accurate leaks, so we will have to wait and see.
