About this deal

I plan to use these jars, https://www.specialtybottle.com/glass-jars/clear-straight-sided/plastic-lid/2oz-ss2w Whether you prefer a traditional twist-top shaker or a sleek spice grinder, our salt and pepper mills are designed to enhance everyday dining. Picture yourself effortlessly seasoning your dishes with a sprinkle of salt or a dash of freshly ground pepper. It's the little things that make a big difference. Built to last For the small, 1.5oz jars, use four B442 magnets arranged in a 2x2 array. This works well for 2oz jars as well. There are also larger jars available in similar shapes. We found ours online at Specialty Bottle, but there are a number of places where these are available. No kitchen is complete without a trusty set of salt and pepper shakers. Our collection features a variety of designs, from classic to contemporary, ensuring there's something for every taste. These essential kitchen tools not only add flavor to your meals but also serve as decorative accents on your dining table.

Consider three factors: smell, taste, and appearance. If spices aren’t as aromatic, aren’t flavorful, or look faded, they may be past their prime. They also have 4 oz and 6 oz jars. I'm considering using larger ones for baking soda, baking powder, corn starch, etc. Why We Chose It: This stainless steel shelf pops onto the top of your oven, so you can keep whatever spices you own—and frequently cook with—close at hand. Why We Chose It: A great starter set for an apartment, this magnetic metal plate comes with 12 3-ounce jars and can be mounted just about anywhere using hardware or a Command strip. While trying larger and larger magnets for some of the bigger jar sizes, we ended up using some fairly strong magnets. Some of them just didn’t seem right to have floating around the kitchen. For example, we tried a big DX44 disc magnet to hold up the largest jar (it failed), but that’s really a very strong magnet. I would not want to have it laying around on the kitchen counter near a sharp knife. It seems a bad idea to have sharp objects unexpectedly moving around on the counter! While putting together some photos for this article, we noticed that many of our spices at home came in 4oz jars. What if we use the larger, 4oz hexagon jars? They’re a nice shape, more squat than tall. Welcome to the world of spice organisation. We understand the importance of keeping your kitchen tidy and functional. That's why we offer a wide range of spice jars, spice condiment stands, and salt and pepper shakers to help you elevate your culinary experience. Why We Chose It: Though expensive, this set of 24 jars has a largely glass composition that makes it more attractive than most, plus comes already filled with spices. The largest size jar we found in this style holds 9oz., and requires more magnetic strength to hold when full. We tried a single DC4 magnet, which failed to hold it up. Though it’s not quite wide enough for two rows of spices, it can accommodate other bulkier essentials, like a bottle of olive oil or a large container of sea salt. If anything spills, it’s a cinch to wash. Just pop it off, sponge it down with soapy water, then rinse clean. Because of its stainless steel construction, it won’t rust, corrode, or absorb odors.

Don’t have time to decant your own spices? Opt for an all-in-one kit, like this Gneiss Spice Everything Spice Kit. Though undoubtedly expensive, it’s the most convenient route to take, since the set comes with 24 jars pre-filled with certified organic and fair-trade spices. You’ll get a full array, including allspice, basil, cayenne, chili flakes, cinnamon, cloves, coriander seed, cumin seed, curry, dill, fennel seed, garlic, ginger, mustard seeds, onion, oregano, paprika, parsley, pepper, rosemary, sage, sea salt, turmeric, and thyme.
