Apply LashBlast and watch as each of your eyelashes becomes fuller than ever before, looking full and dramatic. I have very long, dark, and thick lashes naturally but I still like to use mascara every now and then. Argan and Marula oils leave lashes conditioned as you create the high-volume lash look of your dreams. In my experience, the 24 Hour version has the widest mouth – this allows more product to remain on the wand – hence this is why I find the 24 Hr one to be the most clumpy of all of the LashBlast.

Despite how clumsy I thought LashBlast Volume's thick, caterpillar-like brush would be, it actually held onto my itty-bitty lashes and didn't make them clump, even as I continued swiping on product. In 2009, CoverGirl released a press release celebrating 6 million tubes of LashBlast Volume sold in the first year of sales, and it continues to grow.

As you can see, the tube is very minimalist in a soft seafoam green color that definitely drives home the “clean” angle they’re going for. I’ve spent so much money looking for something better when I can find this and nope it doesn’t exist ! And while my looks graduated from thick, wet glitter sticks in seventh grade to the streamlined, natural approach I take now, the one thing that has been a constant—a non-negotiable, really—in my routine has always been mascara. But be warned, during a very long and very awkward work dinner a few weeks ago, I went to the bathroom and saw that my waterproof mascara had transferred slightly to my eyelids, because the sweatiness of having to make nice with my professional nemesis in front of a foreign colleague was apparently more than any mascara could handle. I love waterproof mascaras since they're the only ones that seem to be able to hold a curl, but they can be drying and they're just annoying to remove.Curl lashes again, holding the curler gently clamped at the base of lashes for 10 seconds on each side. Just natural lashes with an accidental dusting of COVERGIRL Simply Ageless foundation on them (if you’re curious why I use anti-aging makeup even though I’m just 30, more on that here). If you're looking for a regular mascara that just gets the job done and stays on all day, then this one is for you.

While it's not the most dramatic difference I've ever witnessed, CoverGirl LashBlast Volume doles out the perfect, everyday dose of lift and definition to give my tired, weary eyes a little boost as I stumble out of bed and into my desk chair to begin the workday and start my Zoom meetings. With long-lasting, waterproof formulas and patent-pending brushes, you get the max out of each and every lash, each and every time. Nourish your lashes with COVERGIRL®’s Flourish by LashBlast, which includes coconut, avocado, and papaya oils. I first bought it on the recommendation of a friend with gorgeous, fluttery, thick eyelashes, after I asked her what she used, back in 2007.

Probably the strongest recommendation for this mascara that I can give you is the fact that, despite trying many dozens of other mascaras over the years, I have bought at least one tube of Covergirl Lashblast Volume annually for almost a decade now--and in several of those years I bought multiple tubes. Free from parabens, sulfates, talc, and mineral oil, the vegan waterproof mascara is infused with argan and marula oils to leave lashes feeling conditioned. It didn’t feel wet and heavy when I first put it on, and the second coat went on just as smoothly as the first. The waterproof, volume-boosting formula adds thickness and plumpness to your lashes for up to 10x more volume*.

So, as always, I'm just going to tell you about my needs and preferences and experience with this stuff, and let you decide if it seems right for you. Considering the extremely different ingredients list, these two mascaras actually do perform similarly, though I slightly prefer the non-waterproof option.

It seems to provide a bit more volume and length with less effort, though the difference is minor (and in fact, when I look at the photos below, I can't really see a difference). The item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused with seals or original packaging if appropriate. The item may be missing its original packaging, or the original packaging has been opened or is no longer sealed. Covergirl LashBlast Volume has been around for a long time, but I find that it can be hard to find reviews of products that were released before beauty blogging exploded, so I hope this is useful for someone. Go from limp lashes to pumped-up volume with this volume and length mascara that is made to go the distance.
