About this deal
The vacuum has to be assembled when first removed from the box, but all the parts slot together in a logical straightforward way, which meant we didn’t need to consult the instruction manual. And it works, meaning you won’t have the dirty job of cutting away hair on a regular basis to maintain optimum performance. It is also freestanding and can switch between hard floors and carpets with just the touch of a button.
I used the Eco setting first, which is very powerful for the lower end of the power on offer with the vacuum, and then put it onto the mid-power mode.
The Shark ICZ300UKT was kindly sent to Millie by Shark, and she tested for two weeks before writing this review.
When it comes to reaching underneath the sofa, the Shark ICZ300UKT isn't the most flexible thanks to the powerful LiftAway design at the front of the machine.Combined with DuoClean, Anti Hair Wrap technology actively separates and removes hair from the floorhead as you clean – keeping it tangle free. The wand releases from the main unit, so you can add attachments and reach into awkward places, and you can also remove the wand from the handle if you need to just use the 1. It lacks onboard storage for tools, although there’s a handy accessory bag included – but if you want a cordless upright replacement, this is a great choice. If you’ve ever felt torn between the convenience of a cordless stick and the power of an upright vacuum cleaner, you’ll understand why the Shark ICZ300UKT exists.
