In 2022, the Neptune 3 series of FDM printers has added three new partners, Neptune 3 Pro, Neptune 3 Plus, and Neptune 3 Max, they are very similar in name and shape, to help friends who are interested in them comprehensively To distinguish and understand, we have sorted out the following information, hoping to help. These types of prints can be tricky, but the Neptune 3 Pro handled it easily with smooth, clean walls. The actual hotend is a bit of a mixed bag; it is still PTFE lined, which limits safe temperatures to roughly 260c, and much less for extended use; this is also a consumable, thankfully Elegoo gives you a spare piece of PTFE in the spare parts box. A re-visit of the manual shows that (most likely for clarity) the cable paths themselves are not included in the drawings. The Neptune 3 Pro is a great 3D printer for people who want a polished machine that’s easy to use right from the box. Simply select Level on the main menu and the printer will heat up to 140 degrees on the nozzle and 60 C on the bed. Elegoo brags about the new “TC4 titanium alloy” throat pipe, but there’s still a chunk of PTFE tube in there, meaning it’s not an all-metal hotend.
