Synopsis: “If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one. So having Sonny around, worrying about his friends getting too close or giving me looks that he didn't like, was strangely nice. Did I like this? Duh. Of course yes! He lowered his mouth right next to my ear, his teeth nipping at my lobe before he whispered, "Love you." I tilted my face to look at him, meeting those blue eyes that I knew even without the light, were the brightest blue I'd ever seen. "Little f-bomb dropping hell raisers. I’d never been a big fan of that saying, “Everything happens for a reason,” but maybe, sometimes, every once in a while, things coalesced into a complex, intangible reason. She moved in with her older half brother who is a member of the Widowmakers MC, the same club her no good father was a part of. Also, I wanna mention that this might be the only book where I really don’t mind the 24 yr heroine being a virgin. I mean, I kinda get how that would happen in her situation. Could I do without that tidbit and the double standard it usually enforces? Sure. Was it perpetuating a trend where the heroines need to be pure to be more worthy? NO. It really did make sense for her and her individual situation.
