This all-in-one unit’s built-in stereo speakers will get you listening straight out of the box, too. Am I actually likely to damage my records with this as like I say I've been using it for a year and nothing sounds different to when I first played them, at least to me. Please note this turntable requires a dedicated stylus to play 78 RPM records (available from the manufacturer). A years passed and I've been collecting some more albums and I have to admit grown to love my little set up.
This high-quality, safety-certified 12V power adaptor manufactured by myVolts is 100% compatible with your Ion Turntable. When the volume is very low or very high, the sound is not so good but I find this easily forgivable and to be expected for what it is. It’s pretty much ready to go out of the box, and its built-in amp cranks out enough undistributed output to fill a small room.
