About this deal

The original KTM grips on my bike were not warm enough and one of them had failed, but another key reason for fitting these Oxford grips was the convenience of having a button on the left-hand grip. The controller is small and compact and it is operable via two simple, easy-to-use buttons that allow you to increase or decrease the temperature. I especially like controllers like this, rather than those with sliders or dials, as they’re easier to operate when gloved up. Hi there, would these grips be compatible with the Aprilia 650 Pegaso (2004) I just bought? Thank you very much inadvance November 19, 2018 Do these heated grips come with some sort of fuse when connected to your battery? Thanks! August 16, 2018

These Premium Adventure Heaterz are designed as a replacement for the handlebar grips already fitted to the motorcycle. They will fit onto most motorcycles that use 7/8" (22mm) Ø handlebars. Each grip has an open end to allow the bar end weight to be refitted without the need to trim the grip. The standard length of the Premium Adventure Heaterz grip is 5.19" (132mm). Should the length need to be shortened, they can be trimmed to a minimum length of 4.80" (122mm) without damaging the heating elements. External grip Ø = 1.35" (34.2mm).

Bicycle

Hi. Would these grips fit a Yamaha XMax 300? I realise there is a Scooter model, but would prefer the additional heat settings if possible. Cheers. December 4, 2018 As a complete amateur when it comes to riding, fixing and modifying a bike, the process was more time-consuming for me than it would be for many.

Comfort guaranteed - hex tread pattern for vibration absorption and durability; knurling tread pattern creates the largest surface area for maximum of grip and control. W ith winter well and truly upon us, most of you hardy adventure riders will still be out and about on your bikes. The cold at this time of year can really take its toll on the body and one of the most vulnerable areas to the lower temperatures are your hands. There’s no getting away from the fact that having two cold hands will really affect your riding performance and could even put you at risk as your reaction times decrease. The connectors will be fine when washing your bike - however, it cannot hurt to wrap them in electrical tape when fitting - I have done this to mine in thepast.

Contact

The loom is Y-shaped and the bottom leg of the Y goes to the battery. I was initially concerned about how I would know which fitting connected to which, but Oxford makes it super-easy with specific 2- and 3-pin fitments so you can’t fit each connector anywhere other than where it should go.

I was told that my bike has 1 inch dia bars is there away you could confirm this and tell me the best one's for my bike please, there are so many numbers I am not sure which ones to choose from. These will be fine. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on eachitem. On a more technical level, the intelligent controller will independently measure and control the temperature of each grip using inbuilt thermistors to maintain the desired temperature setting. Will the sports fit a triumph street triple rx 2015? What's the difference in length between the sports and touringplease? The old HotGrips Advanced were controlled purely by the user, so the ability to constantly fine tune them was more valuable. However, the new HotGrips Pro have a thermistor built in, which constantly measures the temperature of the grips to keep them stable. This is really valuable as it means they stay around the same temperature – within their operating range – when riding at 70mph as they do when you’re stopped in traffic. Not only is this more comfortable, but it also avoids the distraction of fiddling to keep them just so. I couldn't get the left grip to sit where I ideally wanted (with the LED light directly facing me) because the heating wire fouled my bike’s cruise control buttons (see photograph in gallery above). The nicest grips on the test... HotGrips® Pro proved fast and accurate between settings with great comfort and grip." RiDE Recommended - Heated Grips Product Test Fully waterproof connectors and integrated controller meet IP65 rating to protect your HotGrips® from the elements. I’m not keen on the brand name on the actual grips, but this is only a minor gripe. They do look good and have one of the lowest diameters (34mm) making them an ideal choice for those with smaller hands, or those who prefer thinner grips. When fitting, they were easy to slide onto the handlebars, but this isn’t always a good thing as easy on means easy off, so they will require more glue to secure than other, tighter-fitting grips.
