About this deal

After inviting too many co-workers to the wedding, Sam tells a risky lie that takes on a life of its own. Line 15: Lady Capulet says that it is "a fortnight and odd days" until Lammastide (August 1, which will be Juliet's 14th birthday), so this Sunday is sometime between July 4th and 18th. Several hours pass during this scene even though it takes only a few minutes to perform. It begins with the servants setting up and the guests arriving. It ends with the guests leaving. Worst Week is an American TV series which originally aired on CBS from September 22, 2008 to June 6, 2009. The series was based on the British sitcom The Worst Week of My Life. The show was adapted for American audiences by Fox under the title Worst Week of My Life, but a series failed to materialize after the pilot was filmed.

Line 148: It is not yet dark. Friar Laurence tells Romeo to go to Juliet now but to leave for Mantua before the night watchmen (police) go on duty ("stay not till the watch be set"). Less enthusiastic was Tim Goodman of the San Francisco Chronicle, who said, "Though there are plenty of hard-earned (some might say forced) laughs here and Bornheimer is a real find, you can't help but wonder how they'll keep up the pace. After all, the British series ran for only two seasons and had a mere seven episodes each season...So how is CBS going to stretch this into 22 episodes without stretching it too thin?...In many ways, Worst Week seems incapable of being made into an American version (there were previous attempts that failed), because not only does the title not make sense, but not having a payoff for all the freaky, not-so-karmic woes Sam endures will be frustrating to the viewing audience . . . [It] is a series that may end up being on a short leash." [5] The watchmen arrive, find the bodies, and send for the Prince, the Capulets, and the Montagues. Balthasar and Friar Laurence are apprehended. There is a bit of confusion about the day in this scene. Both Lord Capulet and Juliet say that the wedding is tomorrow (Wednesday). Lady Capulet corrects them and says that it is on Thursday, but Lord Capulet continues to say "tomorrow" (lines 24, 35, 36, 37, 46). This might be intended to be a bit of comedy about Lord Capulet continually getting the day wrong in his rush to prepare the wedding, but Juliet makes the mistake too (line 35).When Sam and Mel babysit their nephew, he captures a photograph of them in a compromising position that he plans to bring to school for a family photo exhibition. Please be aware that the delivery time frame may vary according to the area of delivery - the approximate delivery time is usually between 1-2 business days. Verne Gay of Newsday graded it A and said it "may be the best new comedy on network TV this season." [4] Sam and Mel continue to keep their upcoming nuptials secret, however it explodes and more in front of the entire Clayton family. Line 130: Balthasar tells Friar Laurence that Romeo has been inside the tomb for "Full half an hour."

Line 4: Benvolio refers to the time of year when he says that "these hot days" are stirring "the mad blood".Lord Capulet supervises the wedding preparations throughout the night. Paris arrives very early in the morning, which was the custom at the time.

Line 20: Lord Capulet says that there will be a party tonight ("This night I hold an old accustomed feast"). When Sam sees a litter of puppies being born, he worries he might not be able to handle the birth of his own child. No time of day is mentioned, but the scene begins with Romeo speaking about a dream that he had, so it might still be morning. When Angela decides she wants to rent the apartment upstairs from Sam and Mel to be closer once the baby comes, Mel tries to prove that she doesn't need her help. In the series premiere, Sam and Mel intend to reveal her pregnancy to her parents after a quiet dinner . However, when Sam misses the train after having a drunk girl throw up on him, the dinner starts becoming increasingly unlikely.

MACCA'S CHRISTMAS CRACKERS

Line 17: Lord Capulet suggests that the wedding should be on Wednesday, but, in lines 19-21, he changes his mind: "Wednesday is too soon. O' Thursday let it be. O' Thursday, tell her, she shall be married to this noble Earl." Line 66: Romeo says that it has been one hour since the wedding ("An hour but married"), but he's probably being figurative not literal. Line 90: Friar Laurence says that "Wednesday is tomorrow" and that Juliet should take the drug "tomorrow night". Juliet wakes up, and Friar Laurence tries to get her to leave. She refuses, and he flees when he hears the watchmen coming. Juliet kills herself. Friar Laurence, Balthasar, and the servant explain what happened. The Prince scolds Lord Capulet and Lord Montague, who finally end their feud.
